The cord is now a running and driving shell thanx to Paul Burnham and co. It still has hundreds of hours left to finish her, but Andy is hoping that it will be launched some time in 2008.

For the first time in two years the front nose cone has been re fitted and re modified again to accept the fact that the car now has series 3 jag discs and calipers on instead of the mk2  ones the wings were made to fit. This caused so much work as the wings had to be banded by two inches to allow clearance.

The body shell although not finished now has the appearance of an assembled car.

2006

If you are a regular here, you will already know about Intersection Magazines's 'Bentley Design Exhibition'. Andy was asked by Intersection to design the new Bespoke Bentley and represent England in Intersection's Design Exhibition.

Andy was so excited by this he designed this beautiful looking car.

It has been named the Bentley Intercontinental, taking the old Continental name forward for the jet set people of today.

The C.A.D. images of Andy's design were made by Ashley Cichocki a Product designer from Manchester who studied Transport Design at Coventry University, before moving to do Industrial Design at Strate College and Northumbria University.

At a Gallery in London's trendy Brick Lane area the design was unveiled to awaiting car enthusiasts.

To fill the exhibition with substance a few cars were chosen for display. Andy was asked to debut the 1970 Lancia Stratos Zero show car, which was finished in time for the exhibition.

As always Andy's work the Lancia Stratos Zero replica stole the show.

Mentley Insanne is currently on display at 20/21 Vision Art Gallery in Scunthorpe, England's first Art Exhibition dedicated to displaying custom cars .

2005

The Aurora is coming out of Beaulieu for a couple of months , and is going to be exhibited at the Essen Motorshow in Germany Nov / Dec 05 and the Stuttgart Motorshow Jan 06. In the place of the Aurora will be Andy's new Project, which is not yet finished, a replica of the 1970 Lancia Stratos Zero prototype.

The Aurora and the X-2000 have both been chosen as the centre piece of a special exhibition held at Beaulieu Motor Museum for the coming year.

This is only the second outing out for the Aurora, and it will be kept company by the X-2000 on center stage. It has been confirmed also that the Run-a-ground will be displayed at the exhibition, not a bad turn out of Andy's work

The exhibition runs from the end of March to March 2006, and to top it all Andy was asked to open the exhibition.

News has come to light of a man who is the first collector of Andy Saunders' paraphernalia. He now owns 3 of Andy's pieces. The person in question wishes, at present, to remain anonymous.

After the most hectic rush Andy has ever known, and 3 hours late for set up, all cars arrived at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2004. The 'Cars of the future' display was the main attraction in the Cartier Concours De Elegance area and of the 6 cars displayed Andy proudly exhibited 3.

The Aurora rubbed windshields with the Alfa Roma Bat 7, while the X2000 shared the same area as the Fiat Turbina, and Indecision looked over Renault's car of the future concept. All 6 cars were brilliantly displayed on a red Martian soil landscape with all kinds of Space paraphernalia, and the whole display was a fantastic success.
